Warp Dynamics / Engineer's log
LOGBuilding in public
Engineer's log. One run a day.
Designing WD-01, a 100 N methane/oxygen thruster, with AI. Six weeks, 33 runs: from the first equation to an engine chosen by AI, checked against CFD, then on to plasma drives and spacetime. Every run gets a log entry with its numbers, figures and limits. Simulations, not test results, until the first part is fired.

- M1First autonomous design run
- M2AI matches the solver
- M3First printed part
- M4First hot-fire
- M5First AI-designed plasma geometry
- M6First AI-optimised warp metric
- Stardate 2026.10.21SupplementalChecked against NASAOur pipeline against NASA’s official CEA code for the same engine: chamber temperature, c* and vacuum Isp agree within 0.11 %. Test ladder level 1 passed.
deviation = (WarpCore − NASA CEA) / NASA CEA
- Stardate 2026.10.21Run 02From cone to bell nozzleA Rao thrust-optimised bell replaces the cone: 20 % shorter, 6 % less wall to cool and to print, and it wins back about half of the cone’s divergence loss.
λ = (1 + cos α) / 2 cone 15° → 0.983
